Inside the in are the elegant Moose Room Suite which opens out onto the outdoor hot tub, and the smaller Fish Room, ideal for a single person. All private rooms have queen-size beds. The inn specializes in Romantic Getaways, or overnight packages which include a home-cooked dinner, all the amenities of the inn, as well as a delicious breakfast. With the larger Gone Fishin’ cabin, enough lodging is available for seven to eleven, and groups are easily accommodated and welcome. The Catawampus Room affords the opportunity for couples or groups to enjoy a game of billiards, poker, darts, or the “Game of the Day’ or a movie on satellite TV! |

The luxurious cabins are furnished with hand-made lodgepole beds, chests, tables and chairs, hand-quilted coverlets, and plush robes for ultimate comfort. The porches feature comfortable rockers and gliders, where you can sit enjoying a cup of coffee early in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the sounds of nature.. The High Country Inn specializes in small intimate weddings, as well as medium-sized groups, from a party of 8 to a group of 100 or more. Weddings can be held inside the inn, or when weather is nice, in the sunken garden or even on the hillside with a view to the mountains across the river. Children and pets are always welcome.
Pet Policy: Pets must be well-trained and have their own bed and crate, and are not to be allowed on beds or other furniture. A $25 charge is made if pets stay in the guest's room, to allow for extra cleaning. An outdoor kennel is also available free of charge when guests are away. Owners are asked to please clean up after their dogs.

The High Country Inn continues to expand its facilities, becoming more of a lodge in offering not only Bed and Breakfast, but also a variety of activities and amenities for its guests who might want to extend their stay. The luxurious cabins nestled among ponderosa pines give guests the sense of being in the woods away from busy city life, and an outdoor hot tub, horseshoe pit, walking trails with benches at two spots to rest and take in the beauty of the area, and the new Catawampus Room offering a full array of indoor games, provide plenty to do. The High Country Inn now has High-speed Satellite Internet!
A game of billiards, darts, or challenging board games, as well as watching the TV/DVD, or listening to Sirius radio while reading from the inn's library provide hours of entertainment, especially in inclement weather. The Catawampus Room also boasts a kitchenette where beverages and snacks can be prepared, and a laundry center in case there's a need to wash. For extended stays, full meal service is available in the inn, prepared by Innkeeper and Chef Jo Moore.
