The cabins, nestled in a woodsy setting and furnished with hand-made lodge pole pine furniture. All cabins have window-mounted thermostatically controlled combination heat/air.
Our Texas Cabin
 The Texas Cabin has two private rooms. The Yellow Rose Room and the Lone Star Room both have a queen bed, chest, table and chairs on the lower level, and a twin bed in the loft. All furniture in the cabins is handmade, lodge pole pine. A very nice private bath with luxurious towels, robes, and slippers await our guests. Sleeping bags are available for extra children. Wide porch contains two rockers and a glider swing.
 The two Texas cabin units together will accommodate up to six people for a cost of $250 per night. Rates include a full breakfast at the inn, along with all amenities such as the hot tub, lounging at the inn, use of the Catawampus Room, and we can even cook a fine dinner for you on request (for an additional $15-$25 person).
A larger family-sized cabin, called the Gone Fishin’ Cabin, accommodates up to eleven guests, with eight beds.
 The new Catawampus Room is open for our guests! The new cabin boasts a hand-cut ponderosa pine pool table, electronic dart game enclosed in a cabinet of the same wood, along with a beautiful poker table and matching chairs, which can be turned over for a dining table with room for eight. A brand-new TV with built-in DVD, hooked up to satellite, along with a game table and all the family games you can imagine, plus two futons which will make up into double beds when needed for overflow.
 A vanity, and in the kitchen area a Maytag Neptune washer and dryer, microwave oven, counter-top icemaker, and small refrigerator will add to our guests' enjoyment. A wrap-around deck extends to the east end, where two bistro tables with chairs and umbrellas afford a view of the woods and hills beyond the cabins. The Catawampus Room will be available for overnight guests to use, plus can be rented out as a party room as part of the catering business of the High Country Inn.
Pet Policy: Pets must be well-trained and have their own bed and crate, and are not to be allowed on beds or other furniture. A $25 charge is made if pets stay in the guest's room, to allow for extra cleaning. An outdoor kennel is also available free of charge when guests are away. Owners are asked to please clean up after their dogs.
