How To Get Here

Coming into Orofino, turn left at the bridge and head towards Dworshak Dam
and Ahsahka on Hwy 7.
When you reach Ahsahka, proceed across the bridge and continue along the same
road about another half-mile, and you will see a sign for the Dworshak Dam and
Visitor Center. On the left is a large blue highway sign pointing the way to the
High Country Inn , "one mile to the right".
On the right is Viewpoint Road, which leads to the dam. Turn right on that road,
follow it for exactly one mile, on the left is the Old Ahsahka Grade. There is
another blue road sign which says Country Catering and High Country Inn one/tenth mile.
Turn up that road, and in one/tenth mile on the right will be our driveway,
with a big wooden sign at the bottom. Turn up the short driveway and you are at the High
Country Inn!
