This is a picture of the Cast and Blast Reunion (all former Navy buddies) who will return again this October for a repeat 5-day visit. Four days of fishing, shooting, enjoying good food and camaraderie at the High Country Inn.

  A treat was getting to ride in the 50's vintage dome "private" dining car from Kamiah to Kooskia. On the left is the owner of the car, on the right is the promoter who helps organize getting the cars added to the train excursions.   Princess, our old German Shorthair Retriever, welcomes all our guests to the inn, and expects to be played with!Princess, our old German Shorthair Retriever, welcomed all our guests to the inn. She was put to sleep due to a brain tumor in April. We will miss her dearly. Princess is buried on the hill where she overlooked her domain everyday, and there is even a little cedar cross marking the spot. Watch the Video (The video is a Windows Media File.   Trust for Public Lands members from all around the country visited Orofino and their Nez Perce programs. We fed them dinner,
breakfasts, and lunch!
  Red Eye Gravy, Orofino's popular bluegrass band, played indoors and out during our barbeque on June 5
  Rain doesn't dampen the spirits of our patrons! Over 125 attended our kick-off-the summer barbeque in June.
